Us

Texas Milling

  • We grow, harvest, store, and grind our own products so, we can be 100% certain that they contain no chemicals during the process.

  • When our grain is harvested, we harvest at peak time and moisture levels for food product storages.  If our product does not meet our quality standards, we ship it to a feed yard for animal use.

  • We store all of our grain on the farm so we can make sure our best grains will stay at their peak quality to be milled into flour for human consumption.

  • Our flour is milled in small batches with a stone mill.  By using a stone mill instead of a steel mill, we can keep the product at a lower temperature to ensure the natural benefits remain intact.  This also eliminates any risk of metal contaminating the product.

  • Our flour is whole grain with no additives, fillers, or preservatives and vaccum packed in its milled form.  This explains why its consistency is more coarse than comparable products.

Competitors

  • Grains go to elevators from multiple farmers.  These farmers may be using herbicides or pesticides and their origins could come from a variety of different farms.

  • Other producers, including large conglomerates, typically buy bulk shipments from various brokers, not knowing its origin, simply its availability and price.  Quality could be sacrificed in the process which could mean that contaminating substances might be included that could be passed on through milling and included in the packaging process, rendering an entire batch tainted, which could destroy trust with customers.

  • Commerial elevators store grain from multiple farmers in the same bins.  This can lead to mixed quality samples that might be passed on to the consumers, degrading the product.

  • Other mills are concerned with production - quantity over quality.  Higher temperatures can destroy the grade of the product, reducing or eliminating its nutritional value, unless synthetically re-added.

  • Some chemicals added back to their products include: iron, vitamin B, riboflavin, vitamin D, folic acid, thiamine mononitrate, niacin, and others.  This process does not ensure that natural benefits have been preserved.
